Do Your Own Natural Footspa

Today was another excursion day within the seminar and we went to a nice beach in Nasugbu, Batangas. The water was calm, cool and relaxing, and the sky was just beautiful. On the way home, we saw the sunset on the horizon. Like other beach outings, I believe the sea air removes our respiratory problems, as well as the cobwebs in our mind. But today, I learned that we can do more than swim and sun bathe in the beach. We could do our own FOOT SPA!

Foot Spa is a treatment done to remove callouses and dried skin on our feet. The treatment in the parlor involved soaking the feet in a warm solution with a chemical, and then scrubbing with a pumice like stone. Sounds so natural right, except for the chemical.
In the beach today, some of did our own foot spa by soaking our feet on the water by the shore, and then rubbing sand on the bottom of our feet. We also rubbed our darkened knees to remove the dead skin. After just about 30 minutes of soaking and rubbing, vallah! Our feet our now soft like the skin of a baby.

So, if you think that the beach is just for swimming and gettting warm, think of having your own foot spa too.

Speaking of beach, gosh it's already summer! I can feel the heat in Manila already! I wish I could go to a beach too so that I can do a foot spa by the sea shore!
